tonight i want to step on to a desolate railway station in the middle of both nowhere and night on my way to somewhere, to light a cigarette and have a cup of milky sweet tea in a kulhad
tonight i want to wade into the water on a deserted beach in bintan to sit on a rock and feel little fishes squiggling on my hand
tonight i want to lie down outside wisma atria at orchard road and stare at the stars
tonight i want to walk down kensington church street and have thai food and bourbon at churchill arms
tonight i want to go to opera house by bus no. 33 and sit right at the back near the entrance and stare at everyone who boards
tonight i want to drink jack daniels at east coast beach, the non-noisy end
tonight i want to have baida roti at bade miyan
tonight i want to smile back at the lone stranger in the tube on my way back to the hotel
tonight i want to stumble to the somerset bus stop and wait there alone for the night shuttle that will take me home
tonight i want to sit outside the set and chat with a friend while they take the last shot
tonight i want to step out of the liquid room and enjoy the hum for awhile
tonight i want to fall asleep on the bus to kuala lumpur
tonight i want to sing at the top of my voice at the office after my edit, all the way until i get the bus to toapayoh central
tonight i want to drive down marine drive and enjoy the silence
tonight i want to jump over the locked main gate to get to my room in shivalik
tonight i want to buy one last beer and it has to be singha coz i'm at the maitre hotel
