Celebrate.
I sit suffering for the most fun i've had since Zoukout in Singapore last year, when I saw these two pre-pubescent sindhi bitches being busted by cops for dropping E.

But about last night. 'Seven' is a new bar smack at the mouth of Linking Road. It's spacious, has huge glass windows which allow a fantastic view of the Bandra skyline at night and for six nights in a week, plays strictly progressive house music.

To start with, the cute girlie at the gate didn't do the usual 'initial-attitude-but-broad-smile-post-finding-your-name-on-the-list' deal. She was smiling all the time. Maybe she'd snorted one line of coke too many, maybe she's just a happy person. And then there was the music. Bombay sooooo needed a 'house' place. Sure, they're gonna play remixes and shit on Saturdays, but thats for survival. Rest of the nights, strictly house. And wicked stuff. I must've lost count of the number of times I told Suketu to stick to the plan about keeping it a house place, but after the first three times I did it only coz I was wasted.

Amongst all the people I bump into after ages, is an over enthusiastic friend who grabs my arm and whispers in my ear. We're going to Razz Rhino after this. Retro night. 10 year anniversary. Something something yada yada (couldnt hear clear over the music and intoxication) Chalega? Hooo boy. Razz Rhino. The once-upon-a-time Mecca of rocking the ganj. Achha woh toh baad mein. Drugs are on their way. Marega?

Not when i'm having so much fun already.

Anything can happen, and yet nothing might happen. After having worked so hard and so long and so whatever else when you're this close to it and you know that this is it the witching hour the beginning of the end the penultimate analysis the piece de resistance ... and yet, nothing may happen and then you'll sit yourself down and feel bad for a bit and pick yourself up again. But if it does happen, then roxy's going to shake the booty and do the duty and get busy with the beauty.

I need a cigarette.

Weekend at Bhabhi's.
I've just come off a great weekend, full of excellent food, even better alcohol and the icing on the cake - wickeddddd folks.

I have HUGE crushes on all my bhabhis. (At least, all of whom i've met). So my newest bhabhi and me squabbled, teased, sulked, bitched about my brother, rolled eyes at each other, made jokes about each other and got on each other's nerves - all in a span of two days. And this evening when I was leaving for Bombay she gave me a 'good-riddance' gift and asked me to come again, my reply to which enticed another roll-of-her-eyes.

Errr ... hi bhabhi.
B: You've reached haan? You drove safe? Everyone's okay, haan?
Yeah, sab set hai. Listen, thanks for the shirt, it's a perfect fit and I love the colour.
B: Oh good, I was worried about the fit.
And ... ummm ... i'm sorry if I might have pissed you off.
B: Don't be silly.
I didn't piss you off?? Damn ... Errr ... I take my apology back.
